My room was quite clean. The powerful shower was a welcome feature. I found good in-room facilities and they were well maintained. The recent refurbishment shows general standard with high quality fixtures.
I noticed creaky floorboards. I could hear people coming from right down the corridor. This floorboard issue needs addressing.

The location is quiet. It is outside the town center so traffic noises are minimal. The hotel is near the M1. This is a practical advantage.
