good shower comfortable bed ev charging points on site cafe
The room was a good size and the shower worked very well. The bed felt comfortable. I also noticed fast EV charging points located in the car park. The on site cafe offered a good breakfast.
The floors made noise when people walked past the room.

hallway noise inadequate fan
the newly refurbished rooms were appealing, a definite plus after a long day of travel.
I was quite disappointed with the level of noise. I could hear everything from the hallway and the adjacent rooms.. it made it hard to relax. the provided fan barely helped combat the stuffiness, and the window only opened a crack. I found it difficult to get comfortable.

Good Value and Friendly Service
warm welcome family room
The receptionist gave a warm welcome and was very helpful. The newly refurbished rooms are nicely finished (I liked the decor). The family room was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The shower was fantastic.
The attitude of the waitress at breakfast seemed somewhat lacklustre. Service and staff seemed much more upbeat and cute in the evening, though.

The hotel has ample car parking available . It features a bar, and the restaurant looked very nice (although I did not try the food). The hotel is also conveniently located not far from the M1.

totally awesome stay!
new cafe helpful staff fast charger pre-booked lunch
The recent refurbishment really shines. I noticed the new outdoor area with its café, just perfect for a quick bite (loved the pastries!). the super nice team and friendly, especially during check in. i appreciated the convenient, fast ev charging points in the car park. also, i had a lunch pre-booked and it was simple and delicious!
The floorboards near my room were a little creaky. I could hear people walking down the hall, but honestly, it wasn't a huge issue.

the refurbished restaurant and bar looked fantastic with a modern décor. the breakfast offered a nice variety, with hot items replenished regularly (i'm a big fan of crispy bacon!). the service was quick and efficient.

clean room powerful shower good facilities quality fixtures
My room was quite clean. The powerful shower was a welcome feature. I found good in-room facilities and they were well maintained. The recent refurbishment shows general standard with high quality fixtures.
I noticed creaky floorboards. I could hear people coming from right down the corridor. This floorboard issue needs addressing.

The location is quiet. It is outside the town center so traffic noises are minimal. The hotel is near the M1. This is a practical advantage.

i found the accessible room quite spacious. the wet room had all the grab rails in the right places as required.. a shower seat was a great addition.
